Jean Charles was born in Boston on 20 March 1715 where the event was recorded in a civil register. He was the son of Charles de Saint-Étienne de La Tour and Jeanne Angélique Loreau. [1]
By 1716, the family was living at Port-Dauphin, Ile Royale. There were 2 children in the household. [1]
He passed away before 10 August 1735. On that day, his mother Angélique Laureau, widow of La Tour, in her name and her only son Pierre-Charles, sold to Marie LeBorgne, wife of Alexandre Girouard, a farm in Acadie known as Notre-Dame du Levant, in which deceased Sr La Tour had a seventh part. [1]
